NATHAN AND BRIANNA MARTIN
Snoul is a district close to the Vietnamese border and on the main road from Phnom Pen to north east Cambodia and Laos. It is centered around a market area close to our home. Thousands of people work in huge rubber plantations which provide the main source of income. The red, fertile soil is excellent for growing all kinds of fruits and vegetables. In April, people dry their freshly harvested pepper in the street, spreading its spicy aroma across the town. Khmer people here mix with minority groups such as Cham, Phnong, Steang and Vietnamese.
The team has been warmly received into the local community. The main work consists of friendship building and basic gospel sharing along with the literacy and library projects. Above all we need people praying with us for a spiritual awakening among the Khmer people, that they would have a desire to seek and know the true and living God. Pray also that Jesus would soon gather people into bible studies in different villages to know God and trust in Christ alone.
Thank you again for your partnership! Thank you praying for us and for Snoul, and thank you for your generous giving to make our presence there possible. Thank you also for believing and trusting with us that God can grow this mustard seed church and give it influence far beyond it’s appearance! You are vital for the work. God bless you, friends!
